Designed a device to transport stem cell-based tissue grafts cultivated at the hospital to rural areas for ocular surface reconstruction.
Conducted a study of all patients (200+) who came to the hospital in a two year period with Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency ? potential candidates for the stem cell graft.
Worked in the hospital¡¯s visual rehabilitation center to generate educational materials for parents of children with low vision on how to encourage proper cognitive and physical development. Also converted textbooks to large print for school children with low vision.
Designed a patient survey to collect information about how information about the hospital spreads to other areas and to help characterize the patient population. |
